SUBLIMATION PRINTING GUIDE

Sublimation printing guide for Dae Ha Metallic, Holographic, Premium Glitter and Design Film.

All film types are subli print ready with the exception of Metallic Brown, Green and Light Green plus Holographic Brown which are not suitable.

The colour of the film that you sublimation print onto will affect the end result so we recommend the use of light colours only.

STEP BY STEP APPLICATION GUIDE FOR HTV METALLIC, HOLOGRAPHIC, PREMIUM GLITTER AND DESIGN FILM
For the purposes of these instructions we refer to the metallic, holographic, premium glitter and design film as HTV film.
Plotter cut your design in reverse on the HTV film and weed out the excess material. Ensure the design you are going to sublimation print is sized correctly and cut in reverse.
Print your sublimation design onto your usual sublimation paper. If you need to trim round your sublimation paper to aide alignment later in the process do this now.
Pre-press your garment.
Place the weeded HTV film design onto your garment (now with your design facing you) and align as necessary.
Heat press the HTV film with a medium even pressure at 150C for 5 seconds, then peel the PET release liner hot / warm / cool.

Alternatively set your press to 180C, and "tack" the transfer in place for 2 seconds, then peel the PET release liner hot / warm / cool.
Carefully align your sublimation paper over the HTV film (print side down) and tape down a couple of the edges of your paper with heat resistant tape or application tape, to prevent miss-alignment when your press closes or to prevent lifting of the paper when your heat press rises.
Heat press at 180C for 20 seconds. Remove the sublimation paper.
And you are done!
All information is given as a guideline. We always recommend that you perform a test cut and print prior to production.
