Is it possible to pick up an order rather than having it shipped?

If you wish to collect your orders from us we are open for collections between 9:00 to 17:00 hours, Monday to Friday.

We do recommend giving us a call on 01404 892995 in advance to check on stock levels and so that we can have your order picked and packed for you before you arrive.

How quickly will I get my order?

Currently there are record numbers of people shopping online which has resulted in many couriers, including our shippers DPD, no longer guaranteeing that all parcels sent for next day delivery will arrive next day. If parcels are delivered late DPD will not refund us for the shipping fee. On this basis we can also no longer promise that a next day delay is guaranteed and cannot refund for deliveries that are delayed. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.

What is your cut off time for orders?

Normally orders received by 13.30 will be dispatched same day by courier or Royal Mail post as appropriate.

Orders placed after 13.30 will be dispatched if time allows. At busy times such as Christmas it is likely that orders received after the cut off time will not be dispatched until the following day.

If your order is placed after 13.30 and is required urgently please telephone us to request that it is expedited and we will do what we can to get it dispatched for you.

Do you charge VAT?

All prices shown on our website are excluding VAT at the current rate (20.00%) for all UK supplies.

VAT is also applied to orders from all EU (European Union) countries unless we receive notification of a valid VAT registration number.

Supplies to non-EU countries are not subject to Value Added Tax.

What are your shipping charges?

If you are within the United Kingdom your shipping charges will be calculated by the shopping cart based on your location and the weight of the package.
Special rates may apply to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. 
Larger consignments are often shipped by Palletforce. You will receive a message in your shopping cart to contact us so that we can calculate the best option for shipping to you.
If you are outside the United Kingdom please note that you will receive a message to contact us for a quotation for shipping so that we can find the cheapest option to send your order to you.
In the UK we currently ship via DPD, Pallet Force and the Royal Mail.

Do you accept payment online?

We do not currently accept payment online.

When you place an order online you will have the following options to select from -
  • Debit/credit card details already on file (details are held securely offline)
  • Please telephone me for payment details
  • By cheque GB£
  • By bank transfer BACS GB£   
  • Invoice with order (by prior agreement only)

What is your privacy policy?

The Transfer Press does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party. Data collected by this site is used to:

  • Take and fulfill customer orders
  • Administer and enhance the site and service
  • We only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent by joining our opt-in mailing lists. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future.

The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name, address, phone number, email address and credit/debit card details. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. We will always ensure that the information we hold will be accurate and up to date.

What information do we hold on you?
If you have purchased goods from us then the information we hold on you may include your name and address, contact telephone numbers and email addresses. This information is needed for the purposes of providing you with quotations/invoices for goods supplied by us.If you have signed up for our mailing list but have not purchased from us the only information that we hold is your email address.

Who do we share information with?
If you purchase goods from us it will be necessary to share your personal information with one of our delivery services. The data shared is limited to what is needed to facilitate delivery of your order.

We will never sell your details to any third party.

How long will we keep your information for?
If we sold you goods and received payment for those goods then we are obliged to keep records for 7 years to comply with current HMRC tax regulations.If you subscribed to our mailing list your information will be kept until you unsubscribe from the list.

All other orders must be paid for before the order is despatched.

If you have purchased the product concerned from us then you are very welcome to use any images from our web site to promote the articles for sale yourself. 

We do not currently have any stock images available that we can supply to you.
