DYE SUBLIMATION PAPER

 

We offer three different sublimation papers -

  • True Pix - recommended by Tropical Graphics for use with their ArTainium dye sublimation inks. Suitable for both 'hard' and 'soft' substrates. This paper is quick drying and can be used straight out of the printer.
  • Transjet 150 - a 'high release' paper which holds more ink on the surface than the True Pix paper. This paper needs to be allowed to fully dry (at least ten minutes) before use. Most suitable for 'soft' items.
  • Economy paper - another quick drying paper which can be used straight from the printer. We only recommend this paper for 'hard' surfaces.

TRUE PIX HIGH DEFINITION SUBLIMATION PAPER

Recommended by Tropical Graphics for use with their ArTainium dye sublimation inks this paper has been designed for use with today's state of the art six and seven color printers, because these printers deliver more ink onto the paper through the print head you need a paper that can hold the saturation otherwise detail will be lost in the transfer. To alleviate this True Pix paper is specially designed to hold the ink on the surface without the paper becoming too wet and then "cockling" due to over saturation. Please note that this paper is currently only available in US paper sizes.
