| PRINTING AND PRESSING INSTRUCTIONS This transfer paper for sublimation inkjet printers can be printed at 1440 dpi and is especially suitable for high-resolution photographs. Suitable for application on black and dark coloured fabrics made of cotton, polycotton blends and synthetic fabric. We do not recommend this paper for use on nylon football shirts. Inks - suitable for all standard dye sublimation inks. Printing - print image onto the coated side of the transfer paper using your standard settings for your sublimation inks. Do not 'mirror image'. Pressing - Before cutting/trimming prepress the transfer paper for 1-2 seconds with silicon, baking paper or a Teflon sheet on top of the image. This prevents flaking when the image is trimmed.
- Trim away the unprinted area around your image with sharp scissors/cutter.
- For best results we recommend cutting with a plotter/cutter.
- Remove the paper backing from the transfer paper.
- Position imaged paper on garment with the printed size face up.
- Cover imaged transfer paper with silicon/baking paper/Teflon sheet and press as indicated in the table below.
| Pressing Times | | Material | Pressing Time | Temperature | Pressure | | Cotton | 25 seconds | 195°c | Medium | | Synthetic | 15-20 seconds | 185°c | Medium |
Washing instructions - always turn garment inside out before washing. Machine wash at 40șc. Do not use bleach or harsh detergents. If the image becomes creased after washing turn garment inside out and iron on the reverse. |
