Is it possible to pick up an order rather than having it shipped?

If you wish to collect your orders from us we are open for collections between 9:00 to 17:00 hours, Monday to Friday.

We do recommend giving us a call on 01404 892995 in advance to check on stock levels and so that we can have your order picked and packed for you before you arrive.

What is your cut off time for orders?

Normally orders received by 13:00 will be despatched same day by courier or Royal Mail post as appropriate.

Orders placed after 13:00 will be despatched if time allows. At busy times such as Christmas it is likely that orders received after the cut off time will not be dispatched until the following day.

If your order is placed after 13.00 and is required urgently please telephone us to request that it is expedited and we will do what we can to get it out for you same day.

Do you charge VAT?

All prices shown on our website are excluding VAT at the current rate (20.00%) for all UK supplies.

VAT is also applied to orders from all EU (European Union) countries unless we receive notification of a valid VAT registration number.

Supplies to non-EU countries are not subject to Value Added Tax.

What are your shipping charges?

Please note that shipping costs are not included in your shopping cart.We calculate your shipping charges once your order is picked and packed. This allows us to select the most economical shipping method for you based on your location and the size and weight of the package(s).We consider that this approach offers our customers the cheapest options rather than applying flat rate charges which can result in disproportionate costs for some packages.

In the UK we ship via Fedex UK, Pallet Force and Royal Mail.

Special rates may apply to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.

Southern Ireland, Europe and the rest of the world - please ask us for shipping quotations.

Do you accept payment online?

We do not currently accept payment online. 

We realise that some of you would prefer the option to pay for your orders at the point when you place the online order with us but we believe that it is more cost effective for both us and you not to take payments online as this allows us to offer you the cheapest possible shipping costs for your order.

Most of our customers, particularly those who place smaller orders, prefer us to consider the carriage options available - once the order is picked and packed - to ascertain the most economical method for them.

With our range of well over 2,000 products, which can be ordered in any combination, there is no means available that could consider the range of sizes, shapes, weights and the range of possible addresses to which we send and assess the possible costs more accurately than we can do it once we know the precise weight and dimensions of the package(s).

Flat rate charges which are applied regardless of many of the factors which we consider will tend to be more expensive.

Our customers generally tell us that our carriage charges are very reasonable.

When you place an order online you will have the following options to select from -

What is your privacy policy?

The Transfer Press do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. Do you offer credit accounts?

We only offer credit accounts to national and local government bodies, registered charities and educational institutions.

All other orders must be paid for before the order is despatched.

Can I use images from your web site?

If you have purchased the product concerned from us then you are very welcome to use any images from our web site to promote the articles for sale yourself. 

We do not currently have any stock images available that we can supply to you.
